When A Bird Starts To Enjoy A Toy After One Week In Its Cage Should It Be Removed To Rotate To Others?

January 17th, 2010 by admin | Filed under toys.

Every week my husband changes our Sever Macaw’s toys rotating them. He read toys should be changed. Bell last week enjoyed one of the toys she had before. i felt this toy should stay with her to play with for more than 1 week. He disagreed and took the toy out. Should Bell have to wait until this toy rotates back into her cage?

people do that so their bird has variety…it keeps them interested in different things…but if he has a favorite then there is no harm in keeping them in their…just change the others..here is an article you can read..

let her keep one toy, her favorite toy. And rotate all the others.
