What Keeps A Netbook From Being Used For Gaming?

September 17th, 2009 by admin | Filed under technie stuff.

I am looking into getting a netbook (samsung n120) but have no idea whether or not it is possible to load games such as Nexon’s Mabinogi or (with the help of an external disk drive) the Sims 3. Is it only the lack of a disk drive that keeps most people from gaming on them, or is there some other limitation?

Lousy vid card, low amount of ram, tiny screen
Altogether a losing combination for gaming.

    low ram
    bad graphic card
    weak processor
all of which are unupgradable on a netbook (expect ram to a limited extent)
The hard drive has nothing to do with it.
If one was going to use a netbook for gaming, I imange it would be an old game or some other less-resource intensive.

Just checked out Nexon, looks cool. The video from the Samsung wont cut it, sorry.
