If you’re not a lawyer, but need to learn that stuff, because you’re separated from your spouse and headed towards divorce, what is the best website to get the best and clearest information for different states? Especially if you might move to a different state soon, and might get divorced a year or two later, and want to make sure you understand the rules before moving to a state where they could be a big problem.

Do you think shopping online for Christmas is a good idea? I do because there are so many Christmas bargains available online…

    Find the state you’re interested in and go to (example only) Tennessee.gov From there you can select statutes and you can find the rules, forms and pretty much whatever you need. Good luck!

    I use Google a lot, because I find not just the legal statutes, but case law for that state that might imply changes to the written statutes.
