What Is The Best Netbook For Online College Classes?

September 12th, 2009 by admin | Filed under technie stuff.

I work in my car and I’m going to school. I don’t really use the computer except for school work and the internet. Is it my best bet to get a regular laptop or a netbook. I was just wondering if I could use one of the mini laptops for what I wanna use it for.

Quiz: Can you name one top ten song on the radio right now?

Netbooks (which resemble mini-laptops) are the hottest selling mobile internet devices (MID’s) for a few reasons:
Netbooks are affordable (average price $320), netbooks are lightweight (around 2 lbs.) and netbooks are ultra-portable (screens 7-10″) .
Netbooks are great for internet connectivity too.
There are a few limitations including no CD drive, slightly slower processor speed and smaller screens. For the money, a netbook is your best bet.
Look for a netbook with a six-cell battery (lasts 6 hrs) and at least a 8.9″ screen. I recommend Windows XP for you. This Acer Aspire netbook is excellent: http://www.netbooksforschools.com/Acer-A…
    Good Luck!

I think a Netbook would serve you well. If you’re not planning on playing games or loading lots of software, you won’t need anything more. Netbooks are lightweight, come with wireless internet and save on battery life.
Laptops give you larger viewing screen, DVD optical drive for playing movies and loading games or programs. The links below might be useful for you:
