my guinea pigs are new to this house and have no toys (yet) and what would be a cool homemade toy

mine use to like things to hide in (tubes for example). get some pipe from around you home if you can find some…but some that is big enough for it to fit thru without getting stuck.
if you buy it another friend, becareful they dont fight and kill each other.

we had 23 guinea pigs at one stage, they liked the company of each other.
but if they are alone they might get a bit bored, so you need to spend more time with it. they love their food and lots of love and attention. they also like their huts decorated with natural things like bark, sand, leaves, fresh tree leaves. we also made them wooden huts and tunnels, much like a rats cage with all sorts of fun things.

Buy it a friend, put it in the garden ina run, buy chew stick, they hang on the top of the cage and they jump to bite them.
