What Do You Think About Social Security?

February 26th, 2010 by admin | Filed under social.

In my opinion it should never have been started. I am seeing many people over the age of retirement working and drawing social security too. It is an entitlement program that is robbing our country. If a person draws social security should he also be able to rob a place in employment for the younger generation? Is it a form of looting because everybody does it, then it is ok. We can not support both unemployment and social security. If you draw social security then you ought to let someone younger than you that does not work have your job. It is not my fault that you did not prepare for your old age and squandered all your money so that social security is not enough for you to live on.

I will try to answer your question. It is an entitlement because people are getting back more than they put into it. I believe it is robbing the younger people in the work force because they are paying the tax if they are working and if they are not working then the older people are stealing their place in the work force. The system is abused by to many and the ones that really need it are not able to get it. I know a man that could draw but refuses to because he wants to work. If everybody had the I want to work philosophy and not draw the entitlement it would not be bankrupt.

A person that works in the US pays for SS and is entitled to it when they meet the requirements stipulated by the Government.
When you are old enough to get SSI are you going to be willing to live on 900 bucks a month and be a lazy s h i t and sit on your *** so some kid can have a job or be a productive citizen until you cannot anymore.
Why do you begrudge people what they have earned?

People deserve the money they have worked for in the end of their life. If they are working the amount of Social Security decreases. Is it a bad system yes. R they robbing you of a job…NO! On social security an elder most of the time can not afford themselves, medications and such…they need jobs too. The recession in robbing u.

How it is an entitlement if you pay it in? An entitlement is when you get something for nothing. I won’t see any of it anyway, just another reason for the dems/libs to euthanize old people.

There is $ 30,000,000,000,000.00 worth of I.O.U.’s in the ” trust” fund called social security. That is what happens when you let government run anything other than the military.

All I know is that I’ve been paying into it all my life and was told to make it part of my retirement plan. It better be there when I need it.
