   Don’t pinch your lips, add breath support, and practice long tones, more specifically starting on the C below the staff (basically open below the first line) hold it for 6-8 slow beats and go down the scale, so lower not higher. try hitting pedal tones (very very low Notes) they can be pretty hard to play but with practice you’ll get it, playing those very low notes helps increase the muscle in your face helping you hit higher notes. i forgot what the highest note i can hit is but last time i checked i can hit the E above the staff and the lowest note i can play is the pedal tone C. basically the highest note and lowest look like this
   oo and the highest note is suppose to have a line thew it but i can’t type a line the a 0. I’m a freshman too but i play a lot, and i’ve been playing for 5 years, first few kind of don’t count cus i sucked for a while i started playing a whole lot this year.

   I take lessons and what my lesson teacher has me do is only use your weak hand, mine is left, that way you don’t push hard on your lips which makes your lips stronger and you will be able to play higher notes. Also he is having me buzz on my lips, only lips, an ordinary b flat (sorry) scale and that seems to help my tone out a lot.

   i wish i knew, i play trumpet to (i’ve only been playing like for like a year and a half, so the highest note i can hit consistently is a g,

   _______, so i wish i could play that high, but i hope you get an answer.
   By the way, what helps me, although i’m pretty low, is using more of your lower lip than the upper one

   if you follow the previous suggestion and also tighten up your chops you give less to buzz and blow a little harder you can reach as high as a high F. hope this helps
