What Is The Name Of This Toy From The Early Eighties?

January 29th, 2010 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in toys

This was a building toy, kind of like construx, but more basic. It had these colored plastic tubes of different lengths and colors (I sometimes used the red ones as straws) and they were connected by these white plastic pieces that had 2, 3 or 4 prongs. I can remember being able to build a train out of them. If you know the name of the toy or what company created it, that would be awesome. Thank you.

A friend and I were talking about toys from when we were little and we started talking about some kind of tea set where if you got the toy knifes wet ‘jam’ would appear on them and cupcake icing would change different colors and things like that. Does anyone remember the name of these? I think they came out in the late 80s/early 90’s! Thanks!

January 19th, 2010 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in toys

My sister is looking for a toy for her son (he’s 3). Something he saw on a commerical advertised recently. She says it resembles a barn and you can put eggs in the top of it. We also have another friend who mentioned seeing it in the games section of toys r us. We do not know the name or maker. Can anyone offer suggestions? She said she would recognize it if she saw it again.

What Is The Name Of The Deltoidal Icositetrahedron Toy?

December 12th, 2009 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in toys

There’s a toy that used to be popular. You can typically buy them in souvenir shops at science centers (like the Liberty Science Center). Its shape is a deltoidal icositetrahedron and it expands from a small deltoidal icositetrahedron to a larger one when you pull the the opposite sides of it. I can’t figure out what it’s called. Google isn’t working out. Anyone know?

Sometimes teenagers use fake ID/drivers license to either go to a bar, watch R rated movies, but you need a social security to live and work in the US. The Social Security Number tells everything about the person once you enter it into the computer, so if you get a false social security card and some one runs you into the computer you the results might come back as doesn’t exist or belongs to some one else.

If you want to know how to connect computer to TV, here is a video series for you.
