Would A Netbook Be Sufficient For College Life?

I’m heading off to college in a few months and I’m shopping around for laptops and was wondering if a Netbook would suffice for college level work. I’m not majoring in computer science or anything but i will need it for general college work - whatever that may be…
Or would a traditional Notebook work best?
I also have a decent PC back home that i can always revert back to, so this purchase would technically be my secondary machine.
Any suggestions and or considerations appreciated!

In College Majors, What’s The Difference Between Social Studies And Social Science?

I am exploring my college options, and I want to be a teacher in either music or social studies/history/etc. Two colleges which I have looked at so far have listed the two separate majors: Social Studies, and Social Science.
Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between the two?

Where To Volunteer For A Social Work Major In College?

I am interested in volunteering as it is a prereq in my program. However I want to volunteer somewhere specifically in social wok long term to gain work experiance before I finish my degree. I’m specifically interested in medical social work or social work involved with children.

What Is The Best Netbook For Online College Classes?

I work in my car and I’m going to school. I don’t really use the computer except for school work and the internet. Is it my best bet to get a regular laptop or a netbook. I was just wondering if I could use one of the mini laptops for what I wanna use it for.
