How Many Social Problems Could Be Solved, If The Nuclear Family Were Stronger; Especially In The Inner City?

I think that the breakdown of the nuclear family contributes to many of our social problems. I truly beleive that weak families breed weak communities and ultimately a weak nation. A loving home with a mother and father would greatly improve our society. Yet, it seems that we would rather spend $$$ on social programs that have failed for 40 years. Thoughts?
