Did you know…Omega Men’s Watches have both a rugged and elegant look that women love?

Play Doh’s Magic Swirl Ice Cream Shoppe is such a delight and my 3.5 year old daughter has had many happy hours of fun with it. The set comes with 4 cans of play-doh in brown, pink, green, and white sprinkle doh. There are over 40 molds to create tiny confections of delight. It also comes with two plastic cones for making ‘ice cream’, two sundae plastic containers, a plastic “cake” that can be decorated, three spoons, etc.
The attachments to create swirls of ‘ice cream’, ‘toppings’ squeezer, and ’sprinkles’ cranker are all easy to fit. My little one was able to manipulate the attachments with some effort but she could do so independently.
This is definitely one of my daughter’s favorites of the Play Doh sets that we have and it has been keeping her occupied in creating various confections and ‘iced’ delights:) Final verdict: a fun and value Play Doh set that will encourage little ones to create and play make-believe!
My 4 year old daughter loved this toy, it kept her very entertained when we first got it. However, it was only entertaining if I was playing with her (mostly doing it all) because she could not actually manage to push the big handle down or use the sprinkle or topping maker. I myself found the sprinkle maker annoying and hard to use. After a week or so I was very sick of playing with it and let her lose on it on her own and decided to see what she could actually do on her own… all she could accomplish was cramming playdoh into all the spots and getting it stuck and left to dry. In the end she ended up just using the little molds on the sides. This thing is now listed on my eBay for sale for $0.99 just so I can try to make a little back.
All in all I would say buy this big tub of playdoh stuff they sell at toys r us for like $20 and it comes with a ton of playdo and cutters and molds… so much better than this contraption!
I bought this set at Walmart (for only $10). I loved the concept and thought my daughter would too since she loves the PlayDoh birthday set. It comes with the 4 colored PlayDohs - pistachio green, strawberry pink, chocolate brown and vanilla with sprinkles.
You have to assemble the set which is very easy to do. You place the playdoh in the large plunger extruder to make the soft-serve icecream. Select which shape the playdoh will come out into a cone or sundae dish. As you push down on the lever, the playdoh is extruded into the cone or dish which turns so you get the soft serve effect. According to the photos, the softserve playdoh looks realistic. When you do it yourself, it looks like a mess (but that’s ok!). The sprinkle machine is rather easy to use, but some children will initially have problems understanding how to take the top off, screw back the top and then put it back together to start “sprinkling”. There is also another plunger extruder for “whipped cream” or whatever loose topping.
My biggest complaint with this set is that it is very hard for my 3 year old to operate the soft-serve extruder and sprinkler herself. I find it a bit difficult to push it down as well.
The set comes with many many many molds of cookies, candies, fruits, decorations etc. This is nice, but it’s a bit overwhelming.
Overall I gave it 3 stars because it is hard for younger children to use by themselves.
