What is it asking? What are Stage directions and how are they used in a speech?
Thanks.

Stage directions are the ACTIONS the actors make. A Director directs the actions on the stage. Some actions seem IMPLIED because they would be the most natural actions to go with the speaking. As for specifics, I don’t think you should be using Yahoo Answers to DO your homework so much as understand what it’s asking (Spoken like a MOM, huh?)
Stage Directions are things that are written to show the actors wat to do, for example…. in this simple speech thingy, the writing in capital letters and brackets are the stage directions–>
Gemma: Hello Jo, how are you, its a lovely day isn’t it.
(GEMMA POINTS TO THE SUN IN THE SKY AND SMILES TO JO)
Jo: I’mvery well thankyou, and you? Yes it is a lovely day.
(JO NODS, THEN SITS DOWN ON THE BENCH NEXT TO HER)
Stage directions are how actors know what to do when they are performing,
hope that helps, sorry if it doesn’t.
