How To Add Songs Onto Rca Mp3 Player From Different Computer?

February 3rd, 2010 by admin | Filed under technie stuff.

I have a friend’s RCA mp3 player that has tons of songs on it. He doesn’t have his own computer and wants me to add more songs onto it. I’ve burned the ones he wanted onto a cd. How do I add them to his player and make sure I don’t lose his songs. I have an ipod,so I’m not really sure how to do this.

Sadly Itunes doesn’t play nice with non apple mp3 players. The best way to load music on his RCA player would be to use windows media player. If your library is in mp3 format and not apple’s proprietary format, then you should be in business. Connect the RCA player after you load WMP and WMP should recognize the player. You can then drag and drop the songs you want to add to the RCA player.
If your library is all downloaded from Itunes then you are out of luck.
If you burned the songs to an audio cd, you can insert the CD while wmp is loaded and click the rip option. This will rip the tracks from the CD and put them either in WMA or Mp3 format. These can then be transferred to the player.
