You can either connect to the internet through a wireless connection (WLAN) or a wired connection directly to your router (LAN). When you get the laptop you can usually go directly into control panel and select network properties and setup a wireless/wired connection from there. Sorry to be so ambiguous but assuming you have used/connected to the internet using a regular desktop pc, its exactly the same really. Some networks have encryption passwords (if you don’t know your home network key its a good idea to contact your internet service provider) but thats really all you have to look out for. Trust me once you mess around with it a bit with it you’ll wonder how you were so confused with it before!

The internet connects on a laptop through a Lan (Local Area Network) Connection and will run the same way as asny other internet conncetion, however you don’t necessarily have to connect through an ethernet cable (having connection cords limiting your mobility) you have freedom of mobility with a laptop/netbook…

It will work normally as any other laptop. Netbooks are designed for internet, email and office work.
They work the exact same way………..lol
Some of them have “touch keyboards” though.
But theyre designed for internet………..So,ya. lol
