How Do You Tell The Difference Between The Recalled Joker Toy And A Regular One?

While comparing the two boxes, I notice they were a little different for each other. The one I got from the collector had all the product numbers on the box blacked out and the one from K-mart did not. Upon further research I found Mattel recalled the first series of the joker for some odd reason. So which one the two I have is the recalled joker?

Only figure recalled was the thug. Joker was NOT recalled by Mattel.
Any difference was just a running change in the line.
