I pay Verizon for a data connection on my Blackberry. I am thinking about getting a netbook. Can I use my Blackberry as a modem?

First option, pay Verizon $15 per month for a tethering plan. This puts software on your computer then uses your BlackBerry to basically dial-up high speed connection.
Second option, there’s a great piece of software you can buy called TetherBerry. Loads one piece of software on your BlackBerry and the other on your laptop. Works really slick. I prefer this because BlackBerry also still receives emails while connected to TetherBerry. No emails or data can be used on blackberry if using Verizon Tethering option.
Be careful not to download HUGE files while using this. If you end up using a LOT of data without paying Verizon for their tethering plan then they can cancel your data contract.
