How Could A Social Worker Work With A Contemporary Social Problem?
February 16th, 2010 by admin | Filed under social.can someone help me with this question (from an application form for a social work program):
Discuss how you believe a social worker could
work with a contemporary social problem of
interest to you?
Is your marriage in trouble? Learn all about divorce and see it through the eyes of others.
A contemporary social problem would be homelessness, unemployment, drug addiction, single parenthood, discrimination due to ethnicity, socioeconomic class, gender. Pick one and discuss how you would approach the issue; would you intervene on an individual level (micro or clinical) or on a broader level (macro or community development)?
