I have an older desktop and a new netbook. My external cd/dvd drive for the netbook has not arrived yet. Can I use the desktop drive using a usb to usb cable?

    Why do that if you can use yet cheaper LAN or wireless LAN network to share your desktop optical drive. Work with it from your netbook as if its on your computer.
